Mmakome Masendu is a retired Chief Commercial Officer of the Ministry of Trade and industry (now Ministry of Investment, Trade and industry MITI) having worked there for 34 years. As the head of the internal trade unit her area of responsibility covered overseeing the activities of liquor licensing, Game and Gambling divisions.
Mmakome Masendu holds a diploma in trade policy from Switzland and a Bachelor of Commerce from University of Botswana.
